Sickness.
Sorrow.
Injustice.
Misery.
Inhumanity.
Suffering.
This world's woes are many. Each day's news is hard.
Glimpses of glorious beauty- goodness- treasure - are often buried beneath the topsoil of this earth's hideous headlines.
So we mine.
We sift.
We think.
We believe-- there must be more.
GOD.
Hunger.
Longing.
REVELATION: What He planned originally is NOT what has become.
SIN.
SEPARATION.
yet POSSIBLY…
REUNION!
RESTORATION!
REDEMPTION!
RESURRECTION -- of hope. peace. perspective.
through JESUS CHRIST
who BLED
SUFFERED
DIED
ROSE
and CONQUERED
the WORST NEWS: DEATH.
HE paid sin's incalculable DEBT
so that all who wave the white (SELF-SAVIOUR) flag in
genuine contrition, repentance, faith-
may KNOW HIS
FORGIVENESS
LIFE
and this is the
Good News
that overshadows everything bad.
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
