Wow! My hope is to resume transcribing the chronological Bible study I have been intermittently posting for the last few years in the next two weeks-- as well as the occasional "other stuff" (i.e. rambling and ranting!) so please stay tuned.
I'm grateful (and honestly a little surprised) when I discover that anyone other than relatives and the people I bribe check out this blog. Thank you!!
Regarding the random tweet you asked about, it was a response to all of the ecstatic tweeting when the Supreme Court's decision on the health care bill was handed down. I consider myself an America loving patriot, but I grieve for a nation whose citizenry would erroneously place their hope in a government's policies to the degree that it appeared to be happening. I believe that there are so many reasons to celebrate this nation and I am thankful every day that I was privileged to have been born in the land of the free and home of the brave--but it's not my home in the eternal sense, so I was just throwing my perspective into the fray.
Happy Independence Day, and again, thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement.
